Explore the winter wonderland of Harbin on this 4 day itinerary of Harbin. Experience the world famous Harbin Ice and Snow Festival, the largest of its kind in the world. This full blown ice city allows you to climb ice castles, replicas of famous landmarks and whizz down giant ice slides, all lit up at night time.

This itinerary includes 2 full private day tours with a guide and car, to explore the city and the festival. Take part in winter activities and soak in the culture of this fascinating city in North East China.

Itinerary

  • Day 1

    Arrive in Harbin by train or airplane. Transfer will take you to your hotel.

  • Full day private tour with a local guide. First visit the Siberian Tiger Park to see one of the world’s most endangered animals. View the architecture of Harbin’s Grand Theatre, before heading to Sun Island to explore the amazing International Snow Sculpture Art Expo. In the late afternoon, witness and play at the famous Harbin Snow and Ice festival.

  • Full day private tour with a local guide. Head to Saint Sophia's Church, one of the most beautiful and haunting buildings in North East China. Stroll ZhongYang Pedestrian Street (Central Street) to see the Russian style facades, buying snacks and souvenirs. Ride the cable car across the frozen Songhua River, and take a break from the city in Stalin Park. This evening, visit Zhaolin Park for the stunning ice lantern festival.

  • Wake up leisurely and depart Harbin at any time, airport or train station transfer is included.
