Itinerary

Day 1
After being picked up from Lijiang, your hike begins at Hutiaoxia Town, the starting point of the Tiger Leaping Gorge High Trail. To the left, lush greenery and trees; to the right, the roaring Jinsha River with views of Jade Dragon and Haba Snow Mountains when the skies are clear.
At the Naxi village, guesthouses offer rest stops surrounded by streams, trees, and grazing livestock, with Jade Dragon Mountain as a dramatic backdrop.
Continuing east, take the uphill path toward the 28 Bends, the steepest and most challenging section of the trail, climbing to 2,670 meters.
Beyond this point, the trail eases. After another hour, you’ll arrive at Yacha village, home to the Tea Horse Inn, where you can relax.

After a two-hour hike, stop at the Half Way guesthouse for a short rest before continuing to the dramatic One-Line Sky. Descend through cliff crevices into the cool, misty valley, where the roaring Jinsha River greets you with its thunderous flow. From here, pass the Tiger Leaping Stone and reach the base of the steep sky ladder.
At Tianti Inn, experience the thrilling climb: two steel ladders, one shorter and sloped, the other nearly vertical with 52 steps. Using both hands and feet, you’ll ascend and descend this unforgettable section—a mix of challenge, excitement, and awe.lights and noise in the evening full of eateries to try the local treats.
In the morning, we will take you back to Lijiang in a comfortable private car. We can stop along the way for photos and sightseeing.
