Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi)
Visit the panda park for 2.5 to 3 hours by seeing over the pandas from tiny pink newborns to giants. Admire the adorable panda babies running around their play enclosures, laying in the pool, or climbing the trees.
Leshan Giant Buddha (Da Fo)
Afterwards, drive to the historic Leshan Buddha, approx. 2 hours on the expressway. After a quick lunch, we will visit the world's largest sitting Buddha statue which is about 71 meters high, crafted out of a cliff face. If the situation allows, the guide will take you for a closer look at the Buddha's head and feet. Find out more about Buddism and local beliefs in the Lingyun Temple next to the Giant Buddha. After 2 hours visiting at Leshan Buddha, drive back to Chengdu, ending the tour at Tianfu Square in the city centre.
